Leadership Week

Well, camp season is upon us! Lynsey and I are flying to Minnesota tomorrow to visit my family. At the same time leadership training starts at camp. Pray for this team as they prepare for the summer, build relationships and truly seek God's guidance for the summer. God is ultimately in control, but a lot of the logistics and smoothness of the summer rely on this team! Be praying for us too as we won't be there and will miss this valuable time. Kate is my assistant and much will fall on her during this time. So be praying for her as well! Thanks all so much! God is good and we are very excited to be heading out to see my family and then on to camp!

Summer is coming!

Justin presented our summer ministry today during both services at our church home, Calvary Baptist Church. He also got to share a short devotional that applies so well to real life, and especially the tough yet amazing job of being camp staff.
We are getting ready to head to Minnesota to visit family for a few weeks, and then the camp season will start! Justin will have to miss most of orientation week so that may make things a little crazy, having to jump right in as soon as we get there. But we know God works through crazy!
It's going to be a great summer and we are so excited to share what God's doing at Victory through this blog. For those of you on facebook, I'll post a link each time I update the blog, so keep your eyes peeled.
